Engagement Picture Weekend

I am super excited because as soon as G's pants dry we are off to Seattle! Our photographer, Jamie Hammond of Jamie Hammond Photography, threw in our engagement photos for free if we went up there to do them, and since we love Seattle, it was a fabulous plan! So our mini vacation to Seattle starts now.

We are staying at the Hyatt in Seattle (after a $100 discount that I got for joining their Hyatt Gold Passport Club--which I highly recommend, and G's discount for being active military), doing pictures on Saturday (I'll reveal where after I post the photos) after watching the Duck game (U of O vs Utah, 12:30 on ESPN for all you Duck fans), and then a Mariner's game on Sunday. Of course we'll do the Pike's Market run at some point for G's favorite curded cheese, and if I'm lucky I might convince him into a few stores too.

But I'm most excited because we're disconnecting from the weekend (i.e. no blogs, no internet, and little phone) to spend some time on just us. I'll fill you all in as soon as I get back (which likely will be Monday because I anticipate with the 5-6 hour drive home it'll be close to 10-11 before we get to bed).
